San Francisco Suburbs: Safe, clean, close to the city?
I’m starting a new job, working in the Marina. I’d like to live in a neighborhood that’s safe, clean, and (hopefully) 30 mins or less in traffic from the Marina. I’d be looking for a new or remodeled studio or 1-bedroom for around $1100-$1500. Any suggestions for suburbs? I’m assuming that I wouldn’t be able to find those prices in the city?
Also, what’s traffic like on the Golden Gate Bridge during rush hour from the north into the city? What about from Daly City into SF?
i lived in california my whole life and moved to iowa 2 years ago (much cheaper here) but in my opinion, PLEASE go to kentfield, or san rafael, you won’t be disappointed at all. every place there is SAFE, CLEAN, and in your price range. you don’t want to live in the city, it’s way too expensive. take my advice! you won’t be disappointed! i promise
