how long does shrimp stay fresh/safe to eat in fridge? i made Civiche on Sat. 5/20will it be safe to eat Fri?
i cut shrimp that i let the lemon juice cook and real shredded crab meat. will it be safe to eat 7 days after it has been made and in the same plastic container sealed tight with its lid? no avacadom just cucumbers, tomatoes, onion (green) jalapeno and cylantro…did I miss anything? was I supposed to use garlic? anyhow i made for my 25 year old daughter and i wont see her till Friday evening…it cost alot but still not worth making her sick, after i made it I didnt have the heart to open it, (to eat it myself) its her favorite.
Cooked shrimp only stays fresh 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator.
Ceviche ~ no garlic; shrimp not really cooked with heat so I would keep it only 1 to 2 days max~
