Why didn’t the cop give my friend a ticket?
We live near Vegas and my friend his dad is like top secret guy who works at a military base doing like computer work or something!!! anyway I was in the car with him today he just turned 18 we was going like 57 in a 45 in his dads car, I didn’t have my seat belt on so I snapped it on before he stopped us, the trooper looked pissed and seemed like he was going to write us a ticket and told me he saw me put my seat belt on and I told him “yah I did” and he said thanks for admitting your guilt be right back. When he got back to the car he told my friend he ran his record and it wouldn’t let him look anything up and asked him about his driving record which is clean he said he understood it was his dad’s car and have a nice day and take it easy and be safe and buckle up.
why didn’t the cop write us a ticket like he seemed he was going to do? if that was me he would’ve slapped me with tickets
He might have ran the plate and it came back to his dad, maybe was flagged as a government vehicle.
Maybe he just used discretion and gave you guys a break.
