Why do Canadians want to live in the USA?
Why do many Canadians want to come and live in the USA while Americans are not too crazy about living in Canada?
Although, Canada has better medical systems, social security plans, more friendly people and safer in general, more and more Candians want to live in the US and the reverse is not true.
Why is it? What are the USA’s main attractions?
I think it’s partly due to the media: Canada received a lot of television and news stations from the USA; which, obviously, in some ways make the USA seem a lot better than it is. I’m a US citizen who moved to Canada two years ago – and I would NEVER consider moving back to the USA. I think that people wanting to move from Canada to the USA are just mislead and think the States is better than what it really is. American’s don’t want to move out of the country because the USA is a very self-centered country; everyone seems to think that they live in a perfect Nation when in all reality it’s far from it… you can’t blame them, however, because you really don’t see how imperect the USA is until you’re living elsewhere in the world and are able to view it objectively.
