My computer caught AV Security Suite! : C?
I’m on safe mode with networking.
I’m using a proxy server.
The thing is I have AVG Security (which was not working while not in safemode).
So I’m using it now in safe mode running a full computer scan.
So far the AVG Scan program said it’s removed two viruses to the Virus Vault.
This is what it said.
Document and SettingsDavid SunLocal SettingsTempNwr .exe Torjan Horse Fake .CCO Object was removed to the Virus Vault.
For both.
Does that mean it’s gone?
Or do I have to download a specific program to remove it.
I need some reassurance.
when i typed Torjan it’s actually Trojan… but you already know that.
I’m using Windows XP (a little outdated).
I would recommend scanning with free spyware doctor from http://pack.google.com and with malwarebytes. They both remove most versions of AV Security suite, and would be a good check to see if everything is gone.
Also, is your proxy server the one you or your hosting provider set up? If not, it might be caused by AV security suite.
