How do I open this box I bought at an estate sale?
I thought I posted this question, but I'm not sure if I did. I bought this Electronic Sentry Fire Safe at an estate sale for $ 20. There were many it costs almost $ 150 at the store. Well, the owner died and no one knows the combination they say the papers are Sentinel in the trunk, but no one knows the combo and the family does not have the need safe and does not what's inside. I call customer service and Sentry Safe to them to explain what they give me the factory code. If I can do that, then it was worth it, if I could as well get rid of security. Of course, I intend to have everything in it, I doubt anything in there is important if the family did not want it. Anyone have experience with this kind of situation? would be the customer service help Sentry Safe, I read that I can make a notarized statement for them to give me the factory code, but I am not the original owner.
Your best bet is to call customer service Sentry Safe and see if they are able to help. I understand that they are most likely. If they are able to help you, then you might be able to use the safe again. You should look in your local telephone directory for a locksmith or security opener. You could also Google locksmith (Your City) or opener security (your town) This should give you a list of people that might be useful for you. The use of a locksmith or an open-safe or vault, they might be able to open the safe for you, but from what I understand security may not be used, or would only close, but not blocking.
