Sentry Safe X055 for Handguns/Few other questions?
I seem to have a problem putting in my new code for this safe. I’m following the instructions down to every single letter but I can’t get it to accept my new code. Can some please help, here’s what the Instructions say. (Open, the door, remove the battery cover and press the key button inside the battery compartment on the door back. Yellow LED will go on. Enter your new code followed by the # key. Yellow LED will go off to indicate the new code has been accepted and stored.) When I press the “key” button the light stays on but once I start entering my code it goes off before I can even press the 2nd key.
I just got a Brand New XD40 SCtoday will be here tomorrow. I was wondering is it a good idea to clean it before I take it shooting? Also what are some good clean supplies for Handguns? Nothing to cheap. Thanks for the help.
Try a different code. Does the factory code work to open it? Does it beep when you hit the keys? You should try new batteries. Once you get your code set, make sure that you can unlock it before you close the door.
