why wont my sentry safe open?
i have a sentry brand safe (which i believe is a model #1250 because that is the only identification on it besides the company logo), which wont open even though i have the combination (on the original instructions that came with the safe). the safe was previously owned by my in-laws and they used it for years without a problem. am i doing something wrong or is this thing just a piece of junk?

Security Monitoring in Chicago Transit Systems and Public Areas
This year, a significant rise in criminal activity in Chicago’s public transit system has been observed. This awakened mass concern from both Chicagoans and visitors as theft and assault became disturbingly rampant in public areas. Clearly, security monitoring in Chicago was called for.
It’s a good thing it was heard because in response to this problem, operators of the Chicago transit resolved to install new transit security systems in the areas they cover.
