anyone ever used carpeted foam tiles to decorate?
i have small children that are very hard on everything i have and it seemed like an inexpensive, durable and safe option for their rooms. I like the idea of being able to rip out a damaged square if need be and they are supposed to be waterproof because of the foam. I was just wondering if anyone else has used them and if they look nice and what their experience was?

Lots of fun decorating potential, but installation was kind of labor intensive, since each tile needed to be matched up and laid down individually. At 9 inches by 9 inches, it takes quite a while on a 9 by 13 foot room.
As long as you are ready for this, it could be a lot of fun, especiall if you involve the kids in the planning, color selection, and even sorting and handing you the tiles.
