Is it safe to use a miter saw on the ground?
I have to do a small wood project (flooring). I want to use the miter saw to do cuts, but, I don’t have a stand for it. Is it safe enough for cutting wood strips to do so on the ground? I’ve seen it done with a table saw, but, never with a miter saw.
Sigh. With no offense meant at all get a couple of milk crates. Take a plank and lay it across two surfaces equal in height for COMFORT to YOU.
Is this a CHOP SAW, electrically powered? Miter saws and boxes are also NON powered.
The idea is that if the TOOL is grounded it won’t matter if it’s on the “ground” unless the power….connections come in contact with WATER, transfering to the tool, and your body.
