Auto insurance question- got a speeding ticket but got off with driving school?

I just recently got new insurance, I didn’t know whether or not I should put my speeding ticket on the quote since it was my first one and the cop just told me to just come to court and that they would give me driving school. So I decided to put it on the quote because I don’t wanna get pinned for insurance fraud or something, I’m new to this whole insurance thing (just got off my parents) so I played it safe. Now that I have been to court and gotten driving school should I call up the insurance company and let them know what happened? Would it lower my rates if I did that? Or does it even matter? If I can save a few bucks I’ll do it, but I don’t want to waste my time and theirs.

tl;dr—– got a speeding ticket, put it on my insurance quote- got off with driving school- how should I proceed?

Does it really even matter since I received the ticket before I was on this current insurance?

why did you bail out on parents insurance/that could still be the cheapest/i would have stayed on as long as possible/just list the ticket on the app/they will find out/it never goes away from record/no points is what the school did for you and thats a plus

What To Look For In Home Jewelry Safes

Jewelry has value, often both sentimental as well as monetary.  Yet many folks keep their jewelry casually stored in a jewelry box on their dresser or in their drawer providing an easy target for even an inexperienced burglar.  Others keep their precious jewelry locked up safe at the bank, making it inconvenient to wear.  For more information about safes and security visit Jewelry Safes address the downsides of both of those options by providing convenient, secure storage of jewelry.

A home jewelry safe should provide protection from both fire and burglary.  While none of us hope to have either a fire or a burglary at our home statistics suggest that it is a real possibility.  Jewelry safes typically have fire ratings of 30, 60 or 90 minutes and some are even rated for 2 hours.  All ratings are not created equal.  Look for jewelry safe that has been fire tested by an independent organization.  Well known fire testing agencies are names such as United Laboratories (U.L.), ETL and Mercury.  Higher ratings are important if you live near open spaces or in a remote location.

Burglar protection is probably the most important consideration when purchasing a home jewelry safe.  Look for jewelry safes that have a U.L. Residential Security Container (RSC) or the even the higher TL rating.  Just as with the fire rating these independent sources give you confidence that you are getting quality protection. Generally the more steel in the safe the better to slow down any attempted attacks, but even more important is a quality lock.

Jewelry safes can be configured with either a traditional tumbler style combination lock or an electronic lock. Regardless of what style lock, the lock on your home jewelry safe should be one that has the U.L. high security rating.  The two different styles of locks are equally secure.  Most people find the electronic lock to be much easier, and certainly faster, to use.  The batteries are located in the faceplate on the outside of the safe so they are easy to replace even when the safe is locked closed.  One big advantage of the electronic lock is that you can choose your own combination and change the combination whenever you so desire.  Tumbler style locks come from the factory with a set combination and usually a locksmith is needed to change the combination.  As mentioned previously, both style locks are equally secure so the choice between combination lock or electronic lock is really about personal preference.

Biometric, or fingerprint locks have received much of attention over the past couple of years.  Good quality biometric locks can be similar in security to the combination and electronic locks but are generally at a price point that makes them less attractive.  If this type of lock is important to you look for a home jewelry safe with this option.

The other key component of home jewelry safes is the jewelry box inside. Boxes can be either production style made in large quantities at affordable prices or semi-custom or custom that allows the purchaser to impact the specifics of the design.  Look for boxes that provide velvet lined drawers and dividers that work well for the jewelry you plan to store.

Valuable jewelry often is enjoyed by multiple generations within a family. This long life of enjoyment is dependent upon keeping the jewelry safe from both burglary and fire.  It is worth time and money to protect this family heritage.
