What is the difference between ETL and UL rating for fire safes?
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) to both write and perform evaluation of standards of fire resistance of safes in the United States. They are approved by the OHSA. I'm a little confused about your reference in ETL. I understand that this is Energy Technology List which deals with energy efficiency items – often to do with consumption energy – and is part of attempts to reduce energy consumption and production of greenhouse gas emissions. The only way this could relate to fire safes in the amount of energy used in their manufacture.
