Vermont Safest State
Why is it that in most futuristic movies Vermont is the only safe place?
Like in “I am Legend”.
Does Vermont seem like a cool or unique state, environmentally or politically?
It is the only state that doesn’t have a McDonald’s in the state capital. What do you think of it from what you’ve heard?
Vermont is so small that often when a particular group wants to make a political statement they will push to get a majority in the state or a town by moving there en masse and changing the voting base.
The gays did it several years ago and got the marriage laws changed.
so it stands to reason that in the future, the survivalists would want to band together in a small easily controlled area with a mountainous cold environmentally clean area and racially unbalanced in their favor.
A hill is easier to defend and if all on your side are of the same ilk it is easier to identify the enemy.
The races only live together because the all want to be in the same place.
