is buying a motorcycle stupid?
hi, i am 19 and am very much considering buying a motorcycle. I have riden dirtbikes for over 5 years and know very well the dangers of riding a motorcycle. I guess i am torn between the fact of me dying and the joy i have when riding a bike. If i am to get a bike it would be looking at a Vulcan 500 or a Honda Shadow 750 or something along those lines. Even though im a teen i would not buy a crotch rocket because i want to be as safe as possible. My parents after years are fianlly letting me get a small crusier to ride around if i want to. So i plan on taking the motorcycle saftey course in the spring and then starting to ride. So i guess im just wondering what everyones opinions are about buying a motorcyle. thanks for any advice. As far as experience i have only riden my friends Suzuki 750 crusier before and felt very comfortable on it.
Let’s see: My bike insurance is about 20% of my identical coverage car insurance. My bike lets me ride in the HOV lanes. My bike’s easier to park. My bike is fun and improves my attitude. I’d say keeping my car is stupid. Besides, I know too many people that died in cars. Friends don’t let friends ride in cages 
Actually, you seem to have a high fecal cohesion factor & good attitude, which is the most important thing when it comes to surviving the mean streets. Never stop learning. Never stop watching out for the other guy. Get and use the best, most comfortable (so you use it) gear you can afford. Keep you bike in good shape.

The Marshmallow Shooter and Other Safe Shooting Toys
Lots of kids play video games and many of those video games can teach them detrimental things about firearms and weapons. But by giving them some safe alternatives to weapons and teaching them the correct use and responsibility things like marshmallow shooters and Nerf Guns can make for an entire afternoon of fun.
Kids have played with Marshmallow Shooters for centuries starting with homemade shooters. But Marshmallow Shooters of today have been updated and have some pretty cool features. Rather than small amounts of compressed air marshmallow shooters of this century use a pump-action trigger. Some even come equipped with an LED sight that the kids will love for locking on and shooting their target accurately.
And what could be more harmless than shooting each other with tiny little balls of sugar. A marshmallow shooter can hold up to 25 marshmallows so kids can run around the backyard and have a marshmallow war without fear of getting hurt or even getting dirty.
For kids who are in training to be hunters when they get older and are trustworthy enough to handle a more dangerous firearm, another harmless shooting toy is the Live Action Flying Duck Hunt. Similar to the notorious Duck Hunt Game made for Nintendo, this Duck Hunt game actually has a duck that will fly around your living room.
When your little hunter is learning how to aim and needs some target practice simply hand him the infrared gun and this flying mechanical duck. When he’s ready to play simply give the mechanical duck a quick 10-second charge. The barrel of the gun doubles as an energizer to give the duck 30 seconds of flying time. When you let him go the duck erratically flies around the room flapping his 6-inch long mylar wings at an amazing 500 times per minute. Young kids can shoot at the duck as many times as they want and no one will ever get hurt.
And of course, Nerf Guns are always a safe shooting toy for kids of all ages. Some Nerf Guns like the Nerf Raider and Nerf Vulcan are slightly more powerful and recommend for older more responsible kids. However, there are several smaller guns including the Nerf Maverick or even a pocket-sized Nerf Gun that have such small amounts of power that you will hardly even know when they hit you.
When your kids are looking for some fun they’ll be able to grab their soft Nerf Darts and their favorite Nerf Gun and head to the backyard for a harmless battle with the rest of the neighborhood kids. And the only injuries you’ll have to worry about are some hurt feelings when they aren’t the last man standing.
If you have kids that are interested in shooting but you’re not quite ready for the real thing, consider some of these safe yet fun alternatives for shooting toys.
